Pathhead Baptist

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes …

For the LORD shall be thy confidence

Prov. 3:4,5,7,26

A very warm welcome!

We are in Kirkcaldy, on the eastern coastline of Scotland between Edinburgh and St. Andrews ... an area rich in Protestant Reformation and Covenanting history.

In this contemporary age we recognise the need for God’s people to be faithful to the authority of His infallible Word, the Bible. Therefore, we seek to present nothing else but Jesus Christ.

As an independent fellowship subscribing to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, we invite you to our website, and should you have any enquiries relating to our fellowship, please do not hesitate to contact me … and, of course, it would be so encouraging if you were to come and worship the Lord with us!

(J.B. Nicholson) In the divine purpose there are deep waters to pass through, flooded rivers to traverse and fierce fires to endure. Having "created" us for His glory, we are "formed" in the flood and in the fire, until we are "made" in His master design (see Is. 43:1-7). God has a purpose in all things, working them together to one chief end. The things He causes and the things He allows, by efficacious and permissive decree, are ruled and overruled, all for the ultimate good of the saint and glory to Christ. That ultimate 'good' is for the believer to be conformed to the image of His Son (Rom. 8:28-29).
